1
Export from Excel
- Upload any .xlsx or .csv, or paste rows from your own bid form.
- Tell EstiMates which column is which the first time. The mapping is saved for next time.
2
EstiMates reads it
- Units in the header (“Floor Area (m²)”) or after the number (“120 LF”) are both understood.
- Metric and imperial in the same sheet are fine.
- Merged titles, blank rows and total rows are handled. Unclear rows are flagged.
3
Bid it out and send it back
- Build a bid package per trade from those lines and invite your subs.
- Level the bids in one grid, converted to your units.
- Export the award as CSV or XLSX with the same columns you imported, so it lines up with your Excel numbers.
Also bring the PDF plan set: sheets are named from the title blocks, the whole set becomes searchable, and you can attach the right sheets to each bid package. All features
Also works with PlanSwift, STACK, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam and Sage.
